Shri Kulothungan became a devotee of Bhagavan since the nineteen seventies, and in the eighties he was spending nights in the Sannadhi Street house. He had a mat and a pillow which he had used on the verandah. His deep devotion and respect for Bhagawan Yogi Ramsuratkumar was expressed in service.

When he came to the Ashram he shared some recollections of Bhagawan.

He said that the much respected pravachankarta Shri Tirumuruga Kirupanda Varrier had come several times to have Bhagawan's darshan. His first darshan was a result of a delightful episode.

In the middle part of the last century a saint known as Poondi Samiar was quite popular and people used to visit Him in street sitting on the outer verandah of a house to meet his devotees. When Shri
Kirupanda Varrier met Him, Poondi Samiar said, "There is a beggar saint who is much greater than I at Tiruvannamalai. He is wandering somewhere near the railway station. Please find Him and prostrate to Him."

Shri Kirupanda Varrier accordingly found the whereabouts of Yogi Ramsuratkumar and prostrated before Him under the punnai tree.

Shri Kulothungan said that Bhagawan knew about the arrival of Kirupanda Varrier. Sri Kulothungan did not sit near enough to Bhagawan to hear the communication between Him and Shri Kirupanda Varrier.

Another devotee said that when she had give to the temple a discovery by Sri Kirupanda Varrier was in progress. Seated on the dais was also Yogi Ramsuratkumar, in His dirty clothes.

Sri Kulothungan also recollected a visit by a follower of the philosopher J. Krishnamurti. Bhagawan seated him near Himself and caught hold of His hand. The visitor was surprised. He exclaimed, "You are performing a miracle." Bhagawan said, "Is it?", and continued to hold his hand.

After a little while He ordered some milk, part of which He offered to the visitor. The visitor said, "I have already consumed the food meant for me. Since I am a diabetic I cannot eat anything more."

Bhagawan tried to persuade him to accept the milk but did not succeed in making him change his decision.

Shri Kulothungan said "we do not know what blessings were made by Bhagawan in that cup of milk.

Thus we reject Bhagawan blessings in some way or the other-we do not deserve them? All saints are prepared to give generously. We are wanting in responsiveness.

Shri Kulothungan est devenu un dévot de Bhagavan depuis les années 70, et dans les années 80, il passait des nuits dans la maison de la Sannadhi Street. Il a dit que le très respecté pravachankarta Shri Tirumuruga Kirupanda Varrier était venu plusieurs fois pour avoir le darshan de Bhagavan. Son premier darshan a été le résultat d'un épisode exquis.

Au milieu du siècle dernier, un saint connu sous le nom de Pundi Samiar était très populaire et les gens avaient l'habitude de lui rendre visite dans la rue, assis qu'il était sur la véranda extérieure d'une maison pour rencontrer ses dévots. Lorsque Shri Kirupanda Varrier l'a rencontré, Pundi Samiar lui a dit : "Il y a un saint mendiant qui est bien plus grand que moi à Tiruvannamalai. Il erre quelque part près de la gare. Veuillez le trouver et vous prosterner devant lui."

Shri Kirupanda Varrier a donc trouvé l'endroit où se trouvait Yogi Ramsuratkumar et s'est prosterné devant lui sous l'arbre punnai.

Shri Kulothungan dit que Bhagavan était au courant de l'arrivée de Kirupanda Varrier. Sri Kulothungan n'était pas assis assez près de Bhagavan pour entendre la conversation entre lui et Shri Kirupanda Varrier.

Un autre dévot a raconté que lorsqu'il s'était rendu au temple, une découverte de Sri Kirupanda Varrier allait avoir lieu. Yogi Ramsuratkumar était aussi assis sur l'estrade, dans Ses vêtements sales.

Sri Kulothungan se souvient également de la visite d'un adepte du philosophe J. Krishnamurti. Bhagawan l'a fait asseoir près de Lui et lui a pris la main. Le visiteur a été surpris. Il s'est exclamé : "Vous êtes en train de faire un miracle". Bhagavan a répondu : "Vraiment ?" et a continué de lui tenir la main.

Au bout d'un moment, il a commandé du lait, dont il a offert une partie au visiteur. Le visiteur a dit : "J'ai déjà mangé la nourriture qui m'était destinée. Comme je suis diabétique, je ne peux plus rien manger."

Bhagawan a essayé de le persuader d'accepter le lait mais Il n'a pas réussi à le faire changer d'avis.

Shri Kulothungan a dit : " Nous ne savons pas quelles bénédictions avaient été faites par Bhagawan dans cette tasse de lait.

Ainsi, nous rejetons les bénédictions de Bhagavan d'une manière ou d'une autre - nous ne les méritons pas ? Tous les saints sont prêts à donner généreusement. Nous manquons de bonnes réactions.
