Après avoir passé quelques moments avec Mani après l'arrivée à l'ashram, je rejoins les américains. Yogiji arrive vers 7h 15. Nous nous levons à son arrivée et, comme la veille, la voiture s'arrête derrière le darshan mandir et c'est Selvaraj qui vient nous chercher, Lee et moi. Nous suivons la voiture qui va dans la partie où se trouve le réfectoire. Elle s'avance sur le terrain puis s'arrête. Mani ouvre la porte mais Yogiji reste à l'intérieur de la voiture. Mani nous fait signe de repartir et remonte dans la voiture qui revient. Je m'arrête au niveau de la cuisine, ce que fait aussi Lee qui me suit. La voiture passe. Yogiji nous salue en faisant l'anjali. Puis nous suivons, jusqu'à la hutte. Mani, Lee et moi nous installons comme hier.

Yogiji donne à chacun une fleur d'hibiscus, puis une seconde. Comme hier, je la mets à mon kurta. Il donne à Ma l'Evangile de Ramakrishna (qu'avait acheté Suresh) et lui demande de lire n'importe quel passage. Il doit y avoir à ce moment une intervention de Mani disant à Yogi que Krishna Swami arrive. Yogiji se tourne de nouveau vers Ma :

- Yogiji: De quoi parle ce passage ?
- Ma : Du guru, Bhagavan.
- Yogiji : Lis

Et elle lit. Cela n'est véritablement pas hasard. Pour le montrer, même si c'est un peu long, il est nécessaire de noter ce passage ici :

Après cette lecture, Krishna Swami, qui comme je vais le comprendre, est député de la région au Parlement à New-Dehli, entre, accompagné de son secrétaire. Chandrasekhar entre aussi et se place en face de Yogi, tout au bout. Le député se place à côté de moi, son secrétaire à sa droite. Yogiji ne fait aucune distinction et, tout député qu'il est, il n'a pas de place privilégiée. Le résumé de la conversation est celui-ci (je n'ai pas tout saisi, mais ce qui n'a pas été saisi n'est pas important et n'était qu'une répétition de ce qui avait été dit au sujet du dossier 'que l'on ne trouve pas' :

- Krishna Swami : J'ai parlé de cette institution (l'ashram) au Parlement à New-Dehli.
- Yogiji (immédiatement) : Nous n'avons besoin d'aucune aide, du gouvernement ou de quelque institution que ce soit. Cette institution est indépendante et le restera.
- Krishna Swami : Mais j'en ai parlé au Parlement et je vais essayé de faire venir le Premier Ministre.
- Yogiji : Nous ne voulons aucune donation du gouvernement. Nous sommes indépendants. Si le Premier Ministre veut venir, il peut venir comme tout le monde, mais cette institution est indépendante. Nous ne voulons pas du gouvernement de ce pays. C'est le gouvernement du monde qui va venir ici !
- Krishna Swami : Mais cette institution est maintenant inscrite au Parlement.
- Yogiji : Nous sommes et resterons indépendant de tout gouvernement. Cette institution est pour les travailleurs individuels. Des personnes comme Mani, Lee et Krishna font partie de cette institution.
- Krishna Swami : Mais c'est enregistré au Parlement, j'en ai parlé. Même si l'institution est indépendante, il est possible d'en parler là-bas.
- Yogiji : Encore une fois (je ne suis pas sûr qu'il ait dit 'encore une fois' mais avant de parler il y a eu une phrase courte). Mon Père seul existe. Il n'y a que Lui. Seulement mon Père, partout. Il est le passé ,le présent, le futur. Il n'existe pas de division, seulement mon Père.

Il dira encore :

- Yogiji: Cette dame ('This lady' en montrant Devaki), était professeur, elle a tout abandonné et est venue au service de ce mendiant ... Krishna et Lee font le travail pour ce mendiant. Ils n'appartiennent à aucun pays, à aucune religion. Ils appartiennent à Mon Père. "

- Krishna Swami (s'adressant à Lee) : De quel pays êtes-vous ?
- Lee : Des U.S.A.
- Krishna swami (s'adressant à moi) : Et vous ?
- Yogiji : Il vient de France, mais il n'appartient pas à la France, il n'appartient à aucun pays. Il appartient à mon Père.

Yogiji dira encore : Ils font le travail pour ce mendiant, en Amérique et en Europe !

Un moment, répondant à Krishna Swami qui dit toujours la même chose :

- Yogiji : Nous sommes indépendants. la manière particulière dont mon Père, pour cette institution ...

Et les larmes viennent aux yeux de Yogiji. L'atmosphère atteint des cimes.

Un moment plus tard, Yogiji dira :

- Yogiji : Cela peut-être va vous paraître égoïste, mais cela ne l'est pas. Rarement des mendiant comme celui-ci viennent. Rarement, très rarement un mendiant comme celui-ci vient...

- Jamais auparavant une institution comme celle-ci n'a existé.

Yogi dira aussi :

- Ce gouvernement n'est pas gentil avec ce mendiant.

Mani dira :

- Mani : Le gouvernement de l'Inde nous fait connaître des problèmes pour l'institution de la communauté Hohm (la communauté de Lee) parce qu'il y a des étrangers. D'un côté ils disent qu'ils veulent des devises et de l'autre ils bloquent tout. l'argent est là. Le trust comprend 5 indiens et 4 américains mais tout est bloqué.

- Krishna Swami : Dites-moi et je vais faire bouger le dossier.

- Yogiji rit ! : Il va faire bouger le dossier mais personne ne sait où est le dossier ! et il éclate de rire. (C'est ici où de telles choses sont encore répétées après des réponses de Krishna Swami. Yogi a l'air de se moquer. Il rit et tape même sur le dos de Mani en riant !)
- Mani : 'X' a déjà enregistré l'Institution à la Cour Suprême. Maintenant elle est enregistrée au Parlement. mais pourtant le dossier ne bouge pas.
- Krishna Swami : il y a une référence au dossier, un numéro. Donnez-le moi et la semaine prochaine il y aura une réponse.
- Yogi : Ah ! .....

Maintenant Krishna Swami sait qu'il a intérêt à tenir sa parole. En fait le dossier passe dans des services secrets, etc...

Puis le chant du gurunama est entonné. Puis :

- Yogiji : Krishna Swami a du travail. Nous n'allons pas le retenir plus longtemps.

Au moment de partir, il n'y a plus que Yogiji, Lee et moi dans la hutte. Il prend la main de Lee jusqu'à la voiture qui n'est pas loin de l'entrée de la hutte.

Morning.-

After passing some time with Mani after our arrival at the Ashram, i join the Americans. Yogiji arrives at 7:15 (am). We get up and, like the day before, the car stops behind the darshan mandir and Selvaraj fetches us, Lee and i. We follow the car that goes to the area where the dining-room stands. The car goes forward on the land and stops. Mani opens the door but Yogiji stays inside. Mani signals to us to go back and gets in the car that comes back. I stop at the level of the kitchen and Lee, who follows me, does the same. The car passes. Yogiji salutes us with anjali. Then we follow, up to the hut. Mani, Lee and i install ouselves like yesterday.

To each one, Yogiji gives an hibiscus, then a second one. Like yesterday, i put it on my kurta. He gives Sri Ramakrishna's Gospel (brought by Suresh yesterday) to Ma and asks her to read any passage. At that time, Mani says to Yogiji that Krishna Swami is arriving. Yogiji turns to Ma:

- Yogiji: What is the topic of this passage?
- Ma: The guru, Bhagavan.
- Yogiji: Read.

And she reads. Obviously, this is not an accident. To prove it, even if it is long, it is necessary to quote this passage :

After this reading, Krishna Swami who, as i will understand, is a delegate of the district at the Parliament in New-Delhi, enters with his secretary. Chandrasekhar enters too and sits facing Yogiji, at the bottom of the hut. The delegate takes his seat beside me, his secretary at his right. Yogiji does not do any distinction and, delegate as the man can be, he has no priviledged place. Here is the summary of the conversation:

- Krishna Swami : I spoke of this institution (the ashram) at the Parliament in New-Delhi.
- Yogiji (immediately) : We don't need any help, from the government or from any institution. This institution is idependent and will remain independent.
- Krishna Swami : But I did speak of it at the Parliament and I will try to call in here the Prime Minister.
- Yogiji : We don't want any donation from the government. We are independent. If the Prime Minister wants to come, he can come as everybody, but this institution is independent. We don't want the government of this country. It is the government of the world that will come here!
- Krishna Swami : But now, this institution is registered at the Parliament.
- Yogiji : We are and we will remain independent. This institution is for the individual workers. Persons like Mani, Lee and Krishna are part of this institution.
- Krishna Swami : But it is registered at the Parliament. I did speak of it. Even if the institution is independent, it is possible to speak of it there.
- Yogiji : Once again... Only my Father exists. Only He. Only my Father, everywhere. He is the past, the present, the future. There is no division, only my Father.

He will say :

- Yogiji (pointing to Ma Devaki): This lady was a teacher, she has given up everything and she has come to serve this beggar... Krishna and Lee are working for this beggar. They don't belong to any country, to any religion. They belong to my Father."
- Krishna Swami (to Lee) : From which country are you?
- Lee : U.S.A.
- Krishna swami (to me): And you?
- Yogiji : He comes from France, but he does not belong to France, he does not belong to any country. He belongs to my Father.

Yogiji will say again : They do the work for this beggar, in America and in Europe !

At a time, answering Krishna swami who always repeats the same:

- Yogiji : We are independant. The particular manner in which my Father, for this institution...

And tears appears in Yogiji's eyes... The atmosphere reaches summits.

Later, Yogiji will say:

- Yogiji: Maybe this will seem selfish to you, but it is not. Rarely beggars like this one come. Rarely, very rarely a beggar like this one comes...

- Never before an institution like this one has existed.

And also :

- This government is not kind towards this beggar.

Mani will say :

- Mani : The government of India brings us problems concerning the institution of the Hohm community (Lee's community) because there are foreigners. On one side they say that they want currencies, and on the other side they block everything. Money is there. The trust includes 5 Indians and 4 Americans but everything is blocked.

- Krishna Swami : Tell me and I will make the file move.

Yogiji laughs !

-Yogiji : He will make the file move but nobody knows where is the file (and He bursts in laughter. Yogiji seems to mock. He laughs and pats Mani's back).
- Mani : 'X' has already registered the institution at the Supreme Court.Now, it is registered at the Parliament. And however, the file does not move.
- Krishna Swami : The file has some reference,a number. Give it to me and next week there will be an answer.
- Yogi : Ah ! .....

Now Krishna Swami knows hat it will be better for him to keep his word... Actually it seems that the file goes to some secret services, etc.

Then Gurunama is sung.

Then:

- Yogiji : Krishna Swami has some work to do. We will not keep him any longer.

At the time of departure, only Yogiji, Lee and i are still in the hut. He takes Lee's hand, up to the car that is not far from the entrance of the hut.
