Aux pieds de mon Maître Extraits des notes de Krishna, prises immédiatement après les évènements.   18 décembre 1996   Darshan de 16h.- Yogiji arrive. Je regarde où va la voiture et Chettiar rit. " Pas de doute, darshan ! " dit-il. Mais, alors que nous sommes dans l'allée couverte, je lui montre la voiture qui rentre dans l'auditorium, la porte en ayant été ouverte. Nous nous installons dans le darshan hall. Je suis au troisième rang avec Chettiar et Rajeshvari commence à chanter le Gurunama. Nous chantons depuis environ cinq minutes lorsque Chettiar me dit : - Bhagavan vient. - Non, c'est la voiture vide. - Non, il vient. En effet, Yogiji entre, suivi des soeurs de Sudama. A peine installé, il appelle Krishna et lui indique de venir sur la natte. Rajeshvari continue. Il appelle Krishna de nouveau et lui dit : - Chante le Nom. Krishna va chanter. Il chante pendant pratiquement 20 minutes. Puis Bhagavan. Krishna arrête de chanter, va vers Bhagavan qui lui dit : - Merci. Il lui tape dans le dos et lui indique sa place. Puis il dit à Ma : - Devaki, je voudrais que toi et Vijayalakshmi alliez chanter le mantra donné par le Paramacharya : " Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Aruna jata. " Ma et Vijayalakshmi se lèvent donc et se rendent à l'endroit où je chantais et entonnent le mantra que tout le monde répète. Après un temps Yogiji dit à Rajalakshmi (sœur de Sudama) de dire à Ma Devaki et Vijayalakshmi de continuer de chanter mais de s'asseoir. Pendant le darshan est arrivé un swami avec un visage du style de Sri Aurobindo jeune et il est accompagné d'une dame portant sari blanc à liseré . Alors que Ma et Vijayalakshmi chantent ainsi, Yogiji appelle Chettiar et parle quelques instants avec lui. Chettiar sort alors du darshan hall. Il est environ 17 heures. Après quelque temps, il fait revenir Ma et Vijayalakshmi et les fait se rasseoir sur l'estrade et demande à Rajeshvari et à la femme de Chettiar de chanter " Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Aruna jata.' " assises. Elles s'exécutent. Tout à coup, à environ 17h10, Yogiji se lève seul, bénit du revers de la main et sort. Je vois bientôt arriver la voiture avec, à l'intérieur Chettiar et Rajagopal. Chettiar descend et Yogiji monte derrière à gauche à côté de Rajagopal. Il fait monter Mani devant. Le chant va continuer longtemps, jusqu'au moment où les soeurs de Sudama seront appelées à sortir. Rajeshvari entonne alors le Mangalam et tout le monde sort. Tout le monde est aligné pour la sortie de Yogiji et Chettiar, qui était en première ligne, me rapporte les évènements : Yogiji a fait amener la statue dans l'auditorium pour l'installer. Il n'avait pas vu la statue depuis qu'elle avait été coulée. Je me doute qu'elle va être installée au-dessus du likhita japa et j'aurai raison. Le soir tombe, il fait nuit... Chettiar est alors appelé à l'auditorium d'où il revient après quelque temps. Ravi en arrive en voiture et Rajagopal en descend à l'entrée. Il est ému. Il me tend la main. " C'est un grand jour pour vous ! " lui dis-je. Il s'en va : " A bientôt, Krishna. ".. Puis Yogiji sort de l'auditorium. Je dis alors à la dame que je vais revenir et je fonce voir la statue... Dans l'auditorium il n'y a pas d'électricité mais un projecteur est branché. Mani, Raji et Rajeshvari sont là. Mani me dit que depuis dix mois il lui était interdit de rentrer dans l'auditorium lorsque Yogiji s'y trouvait mais qu'aujourd'hui Il l'a fait venir. J'apprendrais, par Venkatraman je crois (à qui Yogiji a offert deux châles ce soir), que Yogiji est arrivé à la statue et a demandé à Rajagopal : - Quand peut-elle être installée ? - A tout moment Bhagavan. Yogiji a demandé alors qu'elle soit transportée immédiatement, mais pas par camion. Quinze travailleurs l'ont alors portée sur leurs épaules et elle a été installée sur le likhita japa, sans rien pour la fixer (pour le moment).

At the feet of my Master  Excerpts from Krishna's notes (taken on the spot)   16th December, 1996   Afternoon darshan.- Yogiji arrives. I look to know where the car is going and Chettiar laughs: "No doubt, darshan!" he says. However, while we are in the covered walkway, i show him the car that enters the auditorium, the door of which has been opened. We sit in the darshan hall. i am in the first row with Chetiar, and Rajeshvari begins to chant the Gurunama. We are singing since five minutes when Chettiar tells me : - Bhagavan is coming. - No, the car is empty. - No, He is coming. Actually, Yogiji enters, followed by Sudama sisters. He has just seated when He calls Krishna to seat on the mat. Rajeshvari continues. Soon He calls Krishna again and asks him: - Chant the Name. Krishna goes and sings during almost 20 minutes. Then Bhagavan calls him again. Krishna stops chanting, go to Bhagavan who tells him : - Thanks. He pats Krishna's back, and points to his seat. Then He tells Ma: - Devaki, I would want that you and Vijayalakshmi go and chant the mantra that was given by Paramacharya: "Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Aruna jata." So, Ma and Vijayalakshmi stand up and go to the spot where Krishna was singing and they chant the mantra, which is repeated by everybody. After some time, Yogiji asks Rajalakshmi (one of the Sudama sisters) to tell Devaki Ma and Vijayalakshmi to continue to sing but to sit. During the darshan, a swami came in. His face reminds me of Sri Aurobindo's face when young. He is with a lady in a white sari. While Ma and Vijayalakshmi are chanting, Yogiji calls Chettiar and speak with him for some time. Then Chettiar goes out of the hall. Time is about 5:00 p.m. After some time, He asks Ma and Vijayalakshmi to come back and to seat again on the dais, and He asks Rajeshvari and Chettiar's wife to chant, seated : " Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Arunachala Shiva, Aruna jata." Suddenly, at about 5:10 p.m., Yogiji gets up alone, blesses with the back of His hand and goes out. I see that the car arrives with, inside, Chettiar and Rajagopal. Chettiar gets down and Yogiji gets in, in the back on the left and by Rajagopal's side. He asks Mani to seat in the front. The chant will continue for a long time, until a time when Sudama sisters are called and go out. Then, Rajeshvari sings the Mangalam and everybody goes out. Everybody lines up when Yogiji goes out. Chettiar, who was at the forefront, narrates me the events: Yogiji did ask to bring the statue in the auditorium to install it. He had not seen the statue since it was casted. i have no doubt that it will be installed above the likhita japa. Night is falling. It's dark.... Then Chettiar is called in the auditorium and comes back after some time. Ravi comes from there with the car and Rajagopal gets down from it at the entrance. He is moved. He holds out his hand to me. i tell him: "It's a great day for you!" He goes away : "See you soon, Krishna." Then Yogiji goes out of the auditorium. Then, i go to see the statue... In the auditorium, there is no electricity, but a spot is turned on. Mani, Raji and Rajeshvari are there. Mani tells me that, since ten months, it was forbidden to him to enter the auditorium when Yogiji was there, but that today he was called by Him. Venkatraman will tell me that Yogiji arrived at the statue and asked Rajagopal: - When will it be possible to install it? - At any time, Bhagavan. Then Yogiji did ask to carry it immedietely, but not by truck. Fifteen workers carried it on their shoulders and it was installed on the likhita japa, without anything to hold it (for the time being). ...
