Will Zulkowski a eu le darshan de Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar au début des années soixante dix et dès lors a été un dévot fervent. Lui et sa femme Joan ont passé un temps mémorable time, parfois des mois, avec Bhagavan. Ils sont devenus conscients de son influence spirituelle subtile sur plusieurs plans. A chaque fois qu'ils venaient Le voir, il y avait de nouvelles leçons à apprendre et de nouvelles dimensions de sa personnalité qui se révélaient. Lorsque Will est venu à Tiruvannamalai en février 2004, il nous a fait partager certaines de ses expériences avec Bhagavan.

Will et Joan avaient été les élèves d'Hilda Charlton, une enseignante spirituelle de New York. Hilda avait passé plusieurs années en Inde sous la direction de son maître Swami Muktananda de Ganeshpuri aet elle avait atteint un état spirituel élevé. Avant même de rencontrer Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar, Hilda avait dialogué avec Lui sur le plan subtil. Elle est venue à Tiruvannamalai en 1978 pour avoir le darshan du "Saint Caché " de l'Inde, Yogi Ramsuratkumar. Will était alors à Tiruvannamalai et Bhagavan a dit à Will qu'il devait l'amener directement à lui, quelle que soit l'heure. Hilda est arrivée à 11h30 du soir. Will l'a emmenée à la demeure de Bhagavan à Sannadi Street. Elle était venue avec 26 personnes mais Bhagavan n'a permis qu'à sept personnes de l'accompagner dans sa demeure.

En entrant, Hilda a touché le sol aux pieds de Bhagavan. Bhagavan a dit : "Est-ce nécessaire ?" Hilda a dit : "Oui, c'est nécessaire." Will s'est rappelé que Bhagavan avait donné certaines instructions à Hilda. Alors qu'elle faisait cela, Bhagavan y a diverse une telle énergie que Will a senti tout son corps frémir de cette ruée d'énergie. Une énergie si débordante que Will a pensé qu'il allait s'évanouir.

Hilda elle-même a déjà écrit sur les autres détails de la rencontre et cela a déjà été republié dans Saranagatham et il n'est donc nul besoin de le répéter. Il y a cependant quelques observations d'Hilda qui nous sont très précieuses. Hilda a dit : "Les autres Yogis sont sur ce plan, mais votre Maître (Yogi Ramsuratkumar) est à un niveau bien bien supérieur. Il apporte les énergies cosmiques et Il les canalise pour notre bien. Les autres saints bénissent les dévots. Yogi Ramsuratkumar brûle nos Karmas.... Il se charge de nos Karmas."

Will s'est souvenu d'un autre évènement, mi drôle mi tragique. Il y avait un Shri Raman qui enseignait le Hatha Yoga, qui avait quatre-vingts ans mais qui avait la forme d'un homme de quarante ans, qui était venu pour avoir le darshan de Bhagavan. Il appelait affectueusement Bhagavan "Vieux Renard." Il a un jour écrit une lettre à Bhagavan en s'adressant à lui ainsi : "Mon cher Vieux Renard" !

Bhagavan a écrit une réponse (c'était au début des années 70 quand Bhagavan écrivait encore quelques lettres) et Il a signé : "Vieux Renard" ! Il a demandé à Joan, la femme de Will, de porter la lettre avec soin jusqu'à la Poste, si possible dans une protection. Mais, en toute confiance, elle a porté la lettre à la main. La transpiration de sa pain a fait un trou dans la lettre. Yogi Ramsuratkumar était très en colère. Il a dit que ne pouvait se faire d'une manière particulière que dans ce cas particulier et que s'il était gâté on ne pouvait pas le rectifier. Il a tracé un cercle autour du trou et il l'a envoyée.

Will s'est aussi souvenu du travail de Bhagavan au moment du Maha Samadhi de Swami Gnanananda Giri de Tapovanam. Selon Will, Bhagavan, en apprenant le Mahasamadhi de Swami Gnanananda Giri, a voulu se rendre à Tapovanam. Des personnes qui voyageaient en voiture ont propose à Bhagavan de l'emmener et, avec Will et Joan, il est monté dans la voiture. En arrivant au Matt à Tapovanam, on leur a donné une chambre à tous les trois.

Bhagavan a quitté la chambre après deux jours pour aller dans la véranda. Par la suite il a évité Will et Joan, et quelques jours plus tard Il leur a dit de disparaître.

Will et Joan ont été stupéfiés et choqués et ils ne savaient pas quoi faire, mais ils sont partis.

Ils ont du attendre cinq ans pour avoir la réponse. Bhagavan a expliqué qu'il travaillait à la situation à Tapovanam et qu'il ne pouvait pas prêter attention à Will et à Joan.

De plus, Il a dit que leur présence n'aurait pas aide à l'atmosphère.

Se rappelant d'un autre aspect de Bhagavan, Will a raconté une méchante expérience. Un vieil homme avait développé une forte inimitié envers Will et il avait fait de la magie noire, ce qui avait produit des effets fort négatifs sur Will. Il n'avait pas mangé pendant quinze jours et il était dans un état de grande confusion. Il en a fait part à Bhagavan par écrit, et Bhagavan lui a demandé de venir à Tiruvannamalai.

Quand Will est venu voir Bhagavan, Il a fait asseoir Will près de Lui et Il lui a tenu la main pendant une heurte. Par la suite Will a été complètement libéré des mauvais effets.

Racontant un évènement qui concernait un britannique, Will a dit que James Cairn était venu pour avoir le darshan de Bhagavan, probablement en 1974. Bhagavan l'a béni et lui a dit qu'il se consacrerait à l'Inde. Britannique dédaigneux qu'il était, James a rejeté ça comme étant des balivernes.

Environ deux mois plus tard, James a rencontré une femme, leader spirituelle d'Andhra Pradesh, et pendant douze années il est devenu son fervent fan et disciple. Après son Maha Samadhi en 1986, James a décidé de rester en Inde. Alors désemparé, il a passé une annonce dans les colonnes matrimoniales et il a épouse une indienne et il est maintenant père de deux enfants. Après tout cela il a admis à quel point Bhagavan avait raison !

Will Zulkowski, dévot fervent de Bhagavan, voulait venir à Tiruvannamalai, s'asseoir et écrire son vécu avec Bhagavan, mais hélas, Bhagavan avait d'autres plans pour lui. Quelques mois après sa visite à l'ashram nous avons appris qu'il était décédé. Une âme noble, trempée de l'amour de Bhagavan, qui aurait sûrement enrichi nos vies par ses écrits, nous a quitté, mais Bhagavan l'a certainement absorbé comme quelqu'un qui Lui était très cher.

Gloire à Yogi Ramsuratkumar

Will Zulkowski had darshan of Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar in the early seventies and had been an ardent devotee since then. He and his wife Joan had spent memorable time, sometimes lasting months, with Bhagawan. They had become aware of his subtle spiritual influence on several planes. Whenever they came to him there were new lessons to be learnt and new dimensions of his personality revealed. When Will came to Tiruvannamalai in February 2004 he shared with us some of his experiences with Bhagavan.

Will and Joan had been students of Hilda Charlton, a spiritual teacher in New York. Hilda had spent several years in India under the guidance of her master Swami Muktananda of Ganeshpuri and had attained a high spiritual state. Even before meeting Bhagawan Yogi Ramsuratkumar, Hilda had interacted with him on the subtle plane. She came to Tiruvannamalai in 1978 to have darshan of the "Hidden Saint" of India. Yogi Ramsuratkumar. Will was at the time in Tiruvannamalai and Bhagawan told Will that he must bring her straight to him, whatever the time might be. Hilda turned up at 11.30 p.m. Will took her to Bhagawan's abode at Sannadi Street. She came with 26 persons but Bhagawan permitted only seven persons to accompany her into his abode.

Hilda, on entering, touched the ground at Bhagawan's feet. Bhagawan said, "Is that necessary?" Hilda said, "Yes, it is necessary." Will recollected that Bhagawan gave some instructions to Hilda. While doing so, Bhagawan had poured such energy into it that Will felt his entire body tingle with the rush of energy. Such cascading energy that Will thought he would faint.

The other details of the meeting have already been written by Hilda herself and already republished in Saranagatham and so will not be repeated. There are however a few observations of Hilda which are very precious to us. Hilda said, "Other Yogis are on this plane but your Master (Yogi Ramsuratkumar) is on a much much higher level. He is bringing cosmic energies and channeling them for our sake. Other saints bless devotees. Yogi Ramsuratkumar burns away our Karmas.... He takes on our Karmas."

Will recollected another incident, part funny, part tragic. There was one Shri Raman, a Hatha Yoga teacher, eighty years of age but fit as a forty year old-who had come to have darshan of Bhagawan. He used to fondly call Bhagawan "Old Fox." He had once written a letter to Bhagawan, addressing him, "My dear O1d Fox"!

Bhagawan wrote a reply (This was in the early seventies when Bhagawan still wrote some letters) and signed himself "Old Fox"! Will's wife Joan was asked to carry the letter carefully, preferably inside a cover, upto the post Office. But she confidently carried the letter in her hand. The sweat in her hand put a hole in the letter. Yogi Ramsuratkumar was very angry. He said that the work can be done in a particular way only in that particular instance and if it is spoilt it cannot be rectified. He drew a circle around the hole and sent it.

Wiil also recollected the work of Bhagawan at the time of the Maha Samadhi of Swami Gnanananda Giri of Tapovanam. According to Will Bhagawan wanted to go to Tapovanam on hearing about the Mahasamadhi of Swami Gnanananda Giri. Some persons travelling in a car offered a lift to Bhagawan to go to Tapovanam and he, together with Will and Joan, got into the car. On reaching the mutt at Tapovanam all three were given a room.

After a couple of days Bhagawan left the room and moved into the varandah. Thereafter he avoided Will and Joan altogether, and a few days later told them to clear out.

Will and Joan were bewildered and hurt and did not know what to make of situation, but they left.

They had to wait for five years to get the answer. Bhagawan clarified that he was working on the situation at Tapovanam and could not pay attention to Will and Joan.

Moreover, he said that their presence could not help the atmosphere.

Recollecting another aspect of Bhagawan, Will narrated a nasty experience. An old man had developed a strong enmity to Will and had practiced black magic which produced heavy negative effects on Wi11. He was off food for fifteen days and was in a state of great confusion. He wrote about this to Bhagawan, who asked him to come to Tiruvannamalai.

When Will came to Bhagawan, he made Will sit next to himself and held his hand for an hour. Thereafter Will was completely free of the evil effects.

Narrating an incident concerning a Britisher, Will said that James Cairn came to have darshan of Bhagawan, probably in 1974. Bhagawan blessed him and said he would dedicate himself to India. The disdainful Britisher that he was, James dismissed it as "Poppy cock."

About two months later James met a woman spiritual leader from Andhra Pradesh, and for twelve years he became her ardent fan and follower. After her Maha Samadhi in 1986 James decided to continue in India. Now at a loose end, he advertised in the matrimonial columns, and married an Indian woman and is now father of 2 children. After all this he admitted how right Bhagawan was!

Will Zulkowski, an ardent devotee of Bhagawan wanted to come to Tiruvannamalai, sit down and write his experiences with Bhagawan but alas! Bhagawan had other plans for him. A few months after his visit to the ashram we learnt he had passed away. A noble soul, steeped in Bhagawan's love, who would surely have enriched our lives with his writings, has left us, but surely Bhagawan has absorbed him as one very dear to him.
