When he met Yogi Ramsuratkumar

Sri Sundararajan of Nagercoil is a well known devotee of Bhagavan. He had darshan of Bhagavan as far back a 1985 and ha had many interesting experiences. The first meeting itself was a curious mixture of audacity and submission.

Shri Sundararajan was employed in a factory manufacturing fertilizer and pesticides. A lot of chemicals are used in the manufacture of these items. Sundararajan developed an acute skin allergy because of these chemicals which spread throughout his body so much so that it was painful even to hold and cuddle his children.

Then he ran into his friend Shri Radhakrishnan, proprietor of Assalambika Tractors. (There is an interesting story concerning these tractors which will be narrated later). Shri Radhakrishnan was deeply concerned about this painful allergic condition and he suggested the one sure remedy that he knew of; he gave a small photograph of Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar and advised Sundararajan to leave immediately for Tiruvannamalai to have darshan of Bhagavan. He was very sure that Bhagavan would cure him. Sundararajan, unaware of the great blessing that awaited him, casually said that he would have darshan when he found the time! And then he forgot all about it.

In 1985, a conference of inter action with farmers was arranged in Tiruvanamallai where Sundararajan and a few associates were invited. He then remembered Shri Radhakrishnan's mention of the Swamiji, gathered the address and left for Tiruvannamalai. The group went to Sannadhi street after reaching Tiruvannamalai. They were informed that Bhagavan would give darshan only at 4 p.m. Sundararajan's associates pointed out that their programme was due to start at 4.00 p.m. and therefore there was no point in waiting.

But Sundararajan wanted to try his luck. After all Yogi Ramsuratkumar is the Lord Himself and surely the Lord is beyond time! He went forward to the gate and was about to knock when he saw a lovable figure with a green turban moving towards the grill gate at Sannadhi street.

"He beckoned us in and we followed Him as though hypnotised. Yogi Ramsuratkumar seated us, sat down Himself and appeared to sink into a state of meditation. The group was getting restless. Bhagavan opened His eyes ad said, "What is the time", again went back to meditation. Again the group was getting restless.

"Bhagavan finally opened His eyes and started to lovingly ask each and every one present and poured His blessings. When my turn came I said that I seem to have become less sharp witted which affected me. Bhagavan said "You can pray to Father" and sent me off.

"I felt like a big fool because I had failed to mention to Him my in problem that is the incurable skin allergy. With this sorrow hanging heavily over me I reached home and told my wife also of my stupidity.

"But Bhagavan did not leave it like that. A few months later, I had a strange dream. Bhagavan undid His green turban and stroked my body with it. It was heavenly.

"In a few weeks time the allergy gradually lessened and disappeared altogether. I surrender at Hs holy feet and now I have the understanding that every little thing happens only by His Grace."

Needless to say Shri Sundararajan became an ardent devotee of Bhagavan.

Sri Sundararajan de Nagercoil est un dévot bien connu de Bhagavan. Le darshan qu'il a eu de Bhagavan remonte jusqu'en 1985 et il a eu de nombreuses expériences intéressantes. La première rencontre fut un curieux mélange d'audace et de soumission.

Shri Sundararajan était employé dans une usine qui fabriquait des engrais et des pesticides. De nombreux produits chimiques sont utilisés pour fabriquer ces articles. Sundararajan développa une grave allergie de la peau à cause de ces produits chimiques qui se sont répandus dans tout son corps, tant qu'il lui était même pénible de tenir et de câliner ses enfants.

Il courut alors chez son ami Shri Radhakrishnan, propriétaire d'Assalambika Tractors. (Il y a une histoire intéressante relative à ces tracteurs qui sera racontée plus tard). Shri Radhakrishnan fut fort soucieux de cette condition allergique pénible et il conseilla le seul remède sûr qu'il connaissait : il donna une petite photographie de Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar et conseilla à Sundararajan de partir immédiatement pour Tiruvannamalai pour avoir le darshan de Bhagavan. Il était absolument sûr que Bhagavan le guérirait. Sundararajan, inconscient de la grande bénédiction qui l'attendait, dit négligemment qu'il aurait le darshan quand il trouverait le temps ! Puis il oublia tout.

En 1985, une conférence d'interaction avec des fermiers fut organisée à Tiruvannamalai où Sundararajan et quelques associés étaient invités. Il se souvint alors de la mention du Swamiji par Shri Radhakrishnan, prit l'adresse et partit pour Tiruvannamalai. Le groupe se rendit à Sannadhi street après être arrivé à Tiruvannamalai. Ils furent informés que Bhagavan ne donnerait le darshan qu'à 4 heures de l'après-midi. Les associés de Sundararajan indiquèrent que leur programme devait commencer à 4 heures de l'après-midi et qu'il n'était donc pas nécessaire d'attendre.

Mais Sundararajan voulait tenter sa chance. Après tout Yogi Ramsuratkumar était le Seigneur Lui-même et sûrement le Seigneur est au-delà du temps ! Il s'avança jusqu'à la grille et il allait frapper quand il vit une charmante silhouette avec un turban vert qui venait vers la grille de Sannadhi street.

"Il nous a fait signe d'entrer et nous L'avons suivi comme hypnotisés. Yogi Ramsuratkumar nous a fait asseoir, S'est assis Lui-même et a semblé sombrer dans un état de méditation. Le groupe devint nerveux. Bhagavan ouvrit les yeux et dit : "Quelle heure est-il?", et Il retourna dans la méditation. De nouveau le groupe devint nerveux.

"Finalement Bhagavan ouvrit les yeux et se mit à questionner affectueusement chacun des présents et il fit pleuvoir Ses bénédictions. Quand arriva mon tour je dis qu'il me semblait avoir l'esprit moins vif, ce qui m'affectait. Bhagavan dit : "Vous pouvez prier Père" et il me renvoya.

"Je me sentis comme un grand idiot parce que je n'avais pas réussi à Lui parler de mon problème d'allergie incurable de la peau. Avec cette peine lourdement accrochée à moi j'arrivais à la maison et je parlais aussi à ma femme de ma stupidité.

"Mais Bhagavan ne s'arrêta pas là. Quelques mois plus tard, je fis un rêve étrange. Bhagavan enlevait son turban vert et s'en servait pour caresser mon corps. C'était céleste.

"En quelques mois l'allergie diminua progressivement et elle disparut complètement. Je m'abandonne à Ses pieds sacrés et je comprends maintenant que chaque petite chose n'arrive que par Sa Grâce."

Inutile de dire que Shri Sundararajan est devenu un dévot fervent de Bhagavan.
