Grâce prodiguée

Grace Lavished

Cela a duré plusieurs heures.

Bhagavan a demandé :

In 1994 the Yogi Ramsuratkumar Ashram was being constructed and Bhagavan started giving darshan from a temporary structure at the Northern side of the premises, aptly named "Darshan Mandir" from the middle of 1994. Shri Chandresekarji, former Prime Minister of
India called on Bhagavan. Shri Chandrasekarji had already visited Bhagavan a few times at His Sannadhi Street abode. Normally a fair amount of security was provided. The devotees who came to have darshan were told about the special circumstances and were kept at a distance. It was afternoon, and none knew when Bhagavan would be free.

There was a young man, desperation writ large on his face, who persistently demanded to be allowed to see Bhagavan, saying that the matter was both serious and urgent, but no exceptions could be made under the circumstances.

Aruppukottai Chandrasekar, who was standing nearby, advised the young man to quietly sit chanting the name, praying all the time to Bhagavan for His Grace.

The young man took the advice and started praying earnestly, placing before Bhagavan the precarious state of his father's health, and pleaded with Him mentally to help him in this matter.

This went on for several hours. The former Prime Minister Shri Chandrasekarji finally arrived, had a good talk with Bhagavan and finally left by about 06.30 pm. What with the bundobust, secret police etc., very few people were left in the Ashram.

It was time for Bhagavan to leave for Sudama. He called the Manager and asked him, "Is there anyone who particularly wants to see this beggar?" The Manager could not avoid mentioning the young man who was still praying. Bhagawan asked him to be almowed in.

After prostration the young man began to sob. Bhagavan gently asked him what the matter was. It was explained that the father of the young man was seriously ill. Both his kidneys had tailed, he had been continuously on dialysis for some weeks and now the hospital had discharged him with a direction that he might return with a prospective donor of kidneys. Meanwhile the toxic waste was accumulating in his body and there was palpable deterioration every day.

Bhagavan asked,

"Where is your father?"

"Waiting outside the gate"

"Bring Him"

The young man ran to fetch his father, who, the body swollen with retention of fluids, staggered in and fell at Bhagavan's feet.

Bhagavan sat for a while smoking, looking at the patient, and then did the unexpected. He gave several hard pats on his back and said, "My Father blesses him. He will be alright. Father's Grace" and gave them leave after giving some Prasad.

By Bhagavan's infinite grace, the sequel was also made known to Aruppukottai Chandrasekar, who visited the Ashram after two or three months. There was a line of devotees, waiting to be let into the Darshan Mandir. The young man standing just ahead of Chandraskar was sporting a clean shaven head - either a sign of recent bereavement or an offering to a deity. The young man turned, and immediately recognising Chandrasekhar greeted him and thanked him profusely for his help on the earlier occasion.

And he had a tale to tell.

After leaving the Ashram they were proceeding by car to their home town. Even on the way the father felt much letter and sought a rest room to relieve himself. This was unbelievable, after weeks of dialysis. The progress continued over the next week. V/hen they went next time to the hospital the doctors were amazed at the miracle!

The kidneys which had failed totally had revived 5O% in the left kidney and 35% in the other and the patient could continue with this amount of efficiency! What a relief for the entire family, which had made prayers to all the deities they could think of and were desperate for a remedy.

This young man wished to convey his love and gratitude to Bhagavan and was back here. He explained that there had also been a prayer to Venkatachalapathy the Lord of Tirupati and hence the shorn head. With tears in his eyes he thanked Bhagavan for effecting this miraculous cure with just a few pats on his father's back!
