Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar was sitting in the parnashala in the year 2000. His health was fragile and He chose to sit in the Parnashala from where He could directly oversee the construction of the buiding for the Ma Devaki Veda Patasala. Devotees doing the Ashrama Parikrama could have His darshan from the Parikram Path; some of the devotees who wanted a closer darshan and an opportunity to speak to Him were allowed to come to the Parnashala. There was only a wire fence surrounding the Ashram at that time. There were a couple of dogs which lived near the brick kiln in the neighbouring fields. I11 fed and scrawny, they used to come near the fence, hesitate and later took courage to come inside near the Parnashala where our Master noticed them. He was moved by their condition and immediately directed that some food be offered to them. The dogs were still timid and ran away when anyone approached them. So Bhagavan directed that the food be placed on a stone nearby. The dogs sniffed around, made sure that nobody disturbed them and then ate the food. This became a regular feature for several weeks and the dogs freely roamed the Ashram grounds, so fearless had they become! One day the stone disappeared. A search was made and it was found that the masons had taken it away for some construction purpose. Bhagavan directed that the stone be replaced in the exact spot and some sticks be placed around it like a fence. This was done. It was then that Ma Devaki asked Bhagavan a question, that had cropped up in my mind too. Why this for the stone used to keep food for the dog? Then Bhagawan said "ÿou remember Yudhishtira and the dog which went with him till the end?" That was it. The symbolism struck us. The
divine does not let go the followers who go with Him till the

Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar était assis dans le parnashala en l'an 2000. Sa santé était fragile et Il avait choisi de s'asseoir dans le Parnashala d'où Il pouvait directement superviser la construction du bâtiment pour le Ma Devaki Veda Patasala. Les dévots qui faisaient le Parikrama de l'Ashramapouvaient avoir Son darshan depuis le Parikram Path ; certains dévots qui voulaient un darshan plus proche et une opportunité de Lui parler étaient autorisés à venir au Parnashala. À l'époque, l'ashram n'était entouré que d'une clôture en fil de fer. Il y avait un couple de chiens qui vivait près du four à briques dans les champs voisins. Nourris et maigres, ils avaient l'habitude de s'approcher de la clôture, d'hésiter et, plus tard, ils ont pris leur courage à deux mains pour entrer près du Parnashala où notre Maître les a remarqués. Il a été ému par leur état et a immédiatement ordonné qu'on leur donne à manger. Les chiens étaient encore timides et s'enfuyaient lorsque quelqu'un les approchait. Bhagavan demanda donc que la nourriture soit placée sur une pierre à proximité. Les chiens ont reniflé autour, se sont assurés que personne ne les dérangeait et ont mangé la nourriture. Ce rituel s'est poursuivi pendant plusieurs semaines et les chiens se promenaient librement dans l'ashram, tant ils étaient devenus intrépides ! Un jour, la pierre a disparu. Une recherche a été faite et on a découvert que les maçons l'avaient emportée pour des travaux de construction. Bhagavan ordonna que la pierre soit replacée à l'endroit exact et que des bâtons soient placés autour comme une clôture. Ce qui fut fait. C'est alors que Ma Devaki a posé à Bhagavan une question qui m'avait également traversé l'esprit. Pourquoi cette pierre utilisée pour conserver la nourriture du chien ? Alors Bhagawan a dit "Vous vous souvenez de Yudhishtira et du chien qui l'a accompagné jusqu'à la fin ?". C'était ça. Le symbolisme nous
a frappé. Le divin ne laisse pas partir les adeptes qui
l'accompagnent jusqu'à la fin. |
