God is great and so are the saints that convey His blessings
to those who serve and deserveand are in need indeed. Such a saint
is Yogi Ramsuratkumaji, dedicated to the welfare and salvation
of mankind, on the pious land of Tiruvannamalai making it still
more pious by His presence.
It was in the year 1992, when I had the privilege of Darshan of
Yogiji. Simplicity and humbleness incamate, the sparkle in his
eyes, the depth of his utterance and meditation commanded respect
to the utmost. He asked me and my mother to sit in his room and
all the rest accompanying us, were to remain outsider During our
stay there for about an hour, Yogiji was mostly in meditation,
looking upwards, turning towards us with short intervals saying
"My Father will bless you". Twice my mother gave me
the hint for getting up thinking that we were disturbing Yogiji's
meditation. Both the times, despite his eyes being closed, Yogiji
smiled a bit and asked us to stay more and with a nod on his head
brought his hands downwards and uttered "My Father will bless
you". During our stay there, he talked a little about his
visit to Rajasthan but mostly remained in meditation. When we
left the holy place, Yogiji along with his blessings and fruit
Prasadam was kind to give us his photo. On my way to Rest House,
I was thinking how to take the photo without wrinkles till framed
and I was astonished when I, on reaching the Rest House, found
eight persons waiting for me with an exactly similar framed photo
meant for me as if to solve the problem in my mind.
1 bow to the humbleness of Yogiji. He who is showering blessings
and is always anxious for the welfare of humanity has no airs
or ego. He calls himself a 'beggar', because for him, in his own
words, "My Father alone exists"; "Nothing else";
"No body else". The Ashram of Agrahara Collai, Tiruvannamalai
being constructed by the devotees with the kind consent of Yogiji
will lead the path of peace, service to humanity and salvation.
