Perspirations, but the IGNORANCE'- the Maya -
of the devotees!

The " THERADI "-" CAR STEPS " is the sacred
" KALADI " as you were seated there
In Lotus posture blessings the devotees!

The"JYOTHI "in the "ARUNACHALA HILL"
Burns aglow as you see it often and often!

The Tower - Gopuram of SRI ARUNACHALA'S TEMPLE
Attracts one and all
Since you cast your lustrous look upon it!

You are LORD SHIVA- and verily from your head
Flows the sacred GANGES,

From your fore-head, rises the full moon
From your one set of five fingers, flow the
sacred five rivers;

From your another set of five fingers,
Have appeared the five elements
The SKY, EARTH, FIRE, WATER AND SOIL.

You were once in the form of "LINGAM"
Whence MARKANDAYA embraced you
Due to the clutches of YAMA - the God of Death
You slashed YAMA and blessed
MARKANDAYA Ever SIXTEEN

You are beyond all the births and deaths -
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE,
Your exist all over and no place without you
you are " PARA BRAHAMA" Svarupa!
Every syllable of your holy name
