Les " avatars " révèlent leur divinité par leurs paroles et leurs actes mystérieux;,leurs miracles et leurs aventures. La vie du Seigneur Krishna n'est-elle pas pleine de miracles, depuis ses farces d'enfance jusqu'à la guerre de Kurukshetra ? La vie de Rama n'est-elle pas pleine d'événements inhabituels et aventureux? Yogi Ramsuratkumar a également accompli beaucoup de miracles. Ses paroles mystérieuses et ses expressions fortuites dites aux fidèles témoignent de sa divinité. Il dit : " Mon Père seul vit dans ce corps. Je suis donc partout. Ma vie est partout. "

Il a dit à l'un de ses fidèles. " Je suis infini et vous l'êtes aussi et tout le monde l'est, mon ami. Mais il y a un voile. Vous ne pouvez voir de moi qu'une partie infinitésimale. Tout comme lorsqu'un homme se tient au bord de la mer et regarde le grand océan, il ne voit qu'une fraction de ce grand océan, de même tout le monde ne peut voir qu'une petite partie de moi. "

Dans une conversation informelle, l'un de ses fidèles qui faisait un certain travail à l'Ashram, a dit : " Swami, mes ancêtres rendaient service à Sri Rama ", Swami a rapidement répondu : "Eh bien, vous servez aussi le même Rama maintenant. "

Quiconque répète le nom de ce mendiant sera sauvé par mon Père, quelque difficiles soient les circonstances. Chaque fois que vous avez des problèmes, appelez simplement avec foi le nom de ce mendiant. Mon Père se précipitera immédiatement pour vous aider. Nous avons un contrat, moi et mon Père. Quiconque appelle mon nom, Mon Père se précipiter immédiatement pour aider. "

Ce ne sont pas de simples paroles. C'est une vérité que de nombreux fidèles ont vécue. Né dans le village de Nardara, dans le district de Baliya de l'Uttar Pradesh, il a été dès son plus jeune âge enclin à la spiritualité. Il est qallé dans le sud à la recherche de son guru. Il a rencontré Sri Aurobindo, Sri Ramana Maharishi et Papa Ramdas. Il a été initié par Papa Ramdas.

" Son véritable travail est de spiritualiser, d'harmoniser et d'intégrer la race humaine. " Mahakavi Bharatiar s'est battu avec le monde sans épée ni effusion de sang pour construire une " Nava India ". Ce mendiant divin veut ramener le " Ramarajyam. Quelle que soit la forme que vous choisissez, donnez à ce mendiant ce qu'il veut : n'oubliez jamais le nom. Ce Nom Divin est comme un parapluie sous les fortes pluies, attrapez le Nom Divin et continuez à faire votre travail dans le monde. "

Yogi Ramsuratkumar aimait l'Inde, chaque Indien et chaque homme sur terre. Il dit : " Tout homme né sur cette terre n'est qu'une incarnation de Dieu. La différence entre l'homme et l'homme ne réside que dans le degré de la manifestation divine. " Il ressent : " Si vous cherchez la vérité pour vous-même, alors ce n'est pas une Sadhana. Ce doit être pour le monde que l'on recherche la vérité. " Comme son maître Sri Aurobindo, il avait un rêve et la vision d'une unité universelle et de la paix sur terre, et par ailleurs d'une race de surhommes spirituels.

L'amour de Swamiji pour l'Inde est incommensurable. Il parle de l'Inde : " Bharata Mata est le Loka Guru, Loka Mata, et Elle seule conduira tout l'univers dans la bonne direction. L'Inde ouvrira la voie à l'univers entier. Nous progressons toujours. " En 1948, Sri Aurobindo a déclaré : " Je crois fermement qu'un avenir grand et uni est le destin de cette nation indienne et de son peuple. " Son contemporain Mahakavi Bharati a dit que l'Inde montrerait à la race humaine comment atteindre l'immortalité. Vivekananda à Kanyakumari, visualisant l'avenir de l'Inde, a proclamé qu'à l'avenir l'Inde allait guider les nations. Il disait aux Indiens de ne pas aller à l'étranger pour mendier avec des de mendiants, mais d'y aller comme des souverains dotés de richesses spirituelles. Yogi Ramsuratkumar prévoit et bénit ainsi la nation : " L'Inde est ma terre, ma terre natale, la terre de mon Père, la Terre Sainte, le Cœur de ce mendiant, la Dharma Bhumi, la Punya Bhmi, la Veda Bhumi, le terrain de jeu du mendiant. Mon Père sait comment nous faire jouer de la politique, le jeu et faire fleurir l'Inde à tout jamais à tous égards. "

Il avait un grand amour pour la nation. Il a dit : " Le Congrès National Indien a été béni par des gens comme Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc. Mahatma Gandhi a inspiré la nation tout entière. Mon guru, Swami Ramdas était un disciple de Mahatma Gandhi et il ne portait qu'une robe Khadi ".

Un événement éclaircit son amour pour Mahatma Gandhi. C'était le 2 octobre, le jour du Gandhi Jayanthi. Une dévote vint Sannidhi street pour voir Swamiji et se vit dire qu'il était allé voir la statue de Gandhi qui se trouvait dans une rue non loin de Sannidhi street. La dévote s'y rendit et elle vit Swamiji assis dans la rue à quelques mètres de la statue, le visage triste. Swamiji la vit et lui demanda de s'asseoir à côté de lui. En montrant la statue, il dit : " Les gens ont oublié le Père de notre nation. " Quelques minutes s'écoulèrent en silence. Puis un autre dévot vint le voir. Quand il voulut mettre une guirlande à Swamiji, il l'arrêta et lui demanda de le mettre à la statue. Le dévot fit ce qu'on lui avait dit. Swamiji était heureux et, comme un enfant, il criait de joie : " Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi Ki Jai ". Puis il quitta l'endroit avec les fidèles.

Sa rencontre avec Indira Gandhi est ainsi exprimée : " Ce mendiant a eu le darshan de Smt. Indira Gandhi. Ce mendiant était allé au Ramanashram et il a eu son saint Darshan. Personne n'était autorisé à pénétrer à l'intérieur de l'Ashram à l'exception des quelques pensionnaires. Heureusement, Sri Siva Iyer est venu voir ce mendiant et il a aidé ce mendiant. Il n'y avait que très peu de gens à l'Ashram. Ce mendiant a donc eu un très bon darshan de notre Premier ministre Smt. Indira Gandhi." Ces paroles révèlent sa divinité sans ego.

Cet homme de miracles était généralement considéré comme un homme divin, un guru spirituel, assis à la porte de la maison de la Sannidhi street, chantant le Ram Nam et disant : " Tout ce que je connais, c'est le Ram Nam. " Beaucoup ne savent pas qu'il est descendu pour réaliser le rêve de Sri Aurobindo en faisant que l'Inde conduise le monde dans la lumière et la sagesse spirituelles.

Yogi Ramsuratkumar-The God Child of Tiruvannamalai is one such sou1, the formless in human form. Yogi Ramsuratkumar often says, "In this ancient holy land, many great masters have come and always some great master or other exists here. We are lucky, really lucky to be born in this land when Yogi Ramsuratkumar is there.

As the word "Avatar" brings before our mind the picture of Rama with his bow and Krishna with his flute, the name Yogi Ramsuratkumar brings before our eyes the fascinating figure in rags with his palm leaf fan and coconut shell. "Avatars" expose their divinity by their mysterious words and deeds; miracles and adventures. Is not Lord Krishna's life full of miracles from his childhood pranks to Kurukshetra warfare? Is not Rama's life full of unusual and adventurous events? Yogi Ramsuratkumar also has performed a lot of miracles. His mysterious words and casual expressions to devotees bear witness to his divinity. He says, "My Father alone lives in this body. So I am everywhere. My life is everywhere."

He said to one of his devotees. "I am infinite and so are you and so is everyone my friend. But there is a veil. You can see only an infinitesimal part of me. Just like when a man stands on the seashore and looks out over the great ocean, he sees only a fraction of that great ocean, similarly everyone can see only a small part of me."

In a casual talk, one of His devotees, who was doing some work in the Ashram, said, "Swami, my ancestors were doing service to Sri Rama," Swami promptly replied, "Why, you are also serving the
same Rama now."

Once, showing Arunachaleswara temple he said, "This is the house of this Beggar from ages to ages. All temples - Tiruvannamalai, Chidambaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, are this Beggar's houses for thousands and thousands of years."

Arunachaleshwara has Sahasra namas and He has given one more new name "Yogi Ramsuratkumar" to the world. The name is Taraka Mantra to his devotees. It has a magic spell not only on his devotees but also on whoever happens to hear it. The name is pure and purifying. Swamiji himself says, "Yogi Ramsuratkumar is not the name of this Beggar. This Beggar died at the feet of Papa Ramdas in 1952. Yogi Ramsuratkumar' is the name of my Father. Anybody who takes to the name of this Beggar will be saved by my Father in whatever difficult circumstances one may be. Whenever you are in trouble, just call this Beggar's name with faith. My father will rush help to you immediately. We have a contract myself and my Father. Whoever calls my name, My Father will immediately rush help."

These are not mere words. It is a truth experienced by many devotees. Born in the village Nardara, in Baliya District of Uttar Pradesh, he was spiritually inclined from his early age. He came to the south in search of his guru. He met Sri Aurobindo, Sri Ramana Maharishi and Papa Ramdas. He was initiated by Papa Ramdas.

Regarding his Gurus he says, "There was much work done by the three fathers of this Beggar. Aurobindo started, Ramana Maharishi did a little and Ramdas finished." Yogi Ramsuratkumar is an embodiment of universal love. He has come with a purpose. He Himself tells, "This Beggar has been assigned a great mission. This Beggar does his work in every step he walks. He gives advice or help to those few people who come to him, but as a general rule, His real work goes unnoticed." His real work is to spiritualize, harmonize and integrate the human race. "Mahakavi Bharatiar fought with the world without sword and bloodshed to build 'Nava India.' This Divine Beggar wants to bring back "Ramarajyam." His aim was to transform the world through love and Ramnam. Vivekananda in his call to India proclaims, "India will be raised, not with the power of the flesh, but with the power of the spirit, not with the flag of destruction, but with the flag of peace and love, the garb of the sanyasin." Yogi Ramsuratkumar's call to the Nation is, "My Friends! This beggar learnt at the feet of Swami Ramdas the Divine Name of Rama and to beg, beg all of you, not to forget the Divine Name, RAMA. Whatever you do, wherever you are, be like Anjaneya Maruti, thinking of Rama, and do your work in this world. At every stage, we face problems - today one problem, tomorrow another, the day after tomorrow yet another. And on account of facing these problems, often we get dejected, disappointed and psychologically sick, if we don't remember the name of the
Divine. So this Beggar will beg all of you not to forget the Divine Name, RAMA. There are people who like to remember the name of Ganapati, equally good. Whatever form you choose, give this beggar what he wants - never forget the name. This Divine Name is just like an umbrella in the heavy rainfall, catch hold of the Divine Name and go on doing your work in the world."

Yogi Ramsuratkumar loved India, every Indian and every man on earth. He says, "Every man born on this earth is but an incarnation of God. The difference between man and man lies only in degree of the divine manifestation." He feels, "If you are seeking truth for yourself, then it is no Sadhana. It must be for the world that truth is sought." Like his master Sri Aurobindo, he had a dream and vision of a universal unity and peace on earth, and furthermore of a race of spiritual supermen.

Swamiji's love for India is immeasurable. He talks about India. "Bharata Mata is the Loka Guru, Loka Mata and She alone will lead the whole universe in the right direction. India will pave the way to the whole universe. We are always progressing." In 1948, Sri Aurobindo said "I believe firmly that a great and united future is the destiny of this Indian Nation and its people." His contemporary Mahakavi Bharati sad that India will show the human race how to attain immortality. Vivekananda at Kanyakumari, visualising the future of India, proclaimed that in the future India is going to lead the nations. He told Indians not to go abroad with begging bowls as beggars but as sovereigns with spiritual riches. Yogi Ramsuratkumar foresees and blesses the nation thus, "India is my land, my home land, My Father's Land, Holy land, this Beggar's Heart, Dharma Bhoomi, Punya Bhoomi,
Veda Bhoomi, the playground of the Beggar. My Father knows how to make us play politics, the game and to make India flourish, for ever, in all aspects."

He had great love for the nation. He said, "The Indian National Congress was blessed by people like
Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc. Mahatma Gandhi inspired the whole nation. My Guru, Swami Ramdas was a disciple of Mahatma Gandhi and used to wear Khadi dress only."

An event explains his love for Mahatma Gandhi. It was October 2 Gandhi Jayanthi day. A devotee came to Sannidhi Street to see Swamiji and was told he had gone to see the Gandhi Statue, which was in a street not far off from Sannidhi Street. The devotee went there and she saw Swamiji seated on the street a few yards away from the statue, with a sad countenance. Swamiji saw her and asked her to sit by his side. Pointing to the statue, he said, "People have forgotten the Father of our nation." A few minutes passed in silence. Then another devotee came to see him. When he wanted to garland Swamiji, He stopped it and asked him to put it on the statue. The devotee did as he was told. Swamiji was happy and like a child he cried in joy "Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi Ki Jai." Then he left the place with the devotees.

His meeting of Indira Gandhi is expressed thus: "This Beggar had the darshan of Smt. Indira Gandhi. This Beggar had been to Ramanashram and had her holy Darshan. Nobody was allowed inside the Ashram excepting the few immates. Fortunately, Sri Siva Ramakrishna Iyer had come to this Beggar and helped this Beggar. Only very few were in the Ashram. So this Beggar had very good darshan of our Primer Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi." These words expose his ego-free divinity.

This man of miracles was commonly considered as a Godman, a spiritual Guru, sitting at the doorstep of Sannidhi Street house, chanting Ram Nam and telling, "All I know is Ram Nam." Many do not know that he has come down to fulfil the dream of Sri Aurobindo by making India lead the world into spiritual light and wisdom.
