This website was created in 1997, when Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar was still in His physical body. At that time, we got the idea that the Internet was a very good tool to make Western people know about Him. It is why, first, we tried to gather all the writings that were printed here and there about Him, about His sayings, and what we have heard personally. Then, with time, we tried to gather all the recordings of His voice and we worked on them and, after some time, we released a CD. It was a huge work and maybe it would be possible to do better now. Then, we tried to gather pictures, and we did the same. Afterwards, it seemed that it was important, for people who never meet Yogiji, to create video-DVD with all the images that were filmed with our video camera. We know that this is something limited, and sometimes it may appear 'personal'. However, it was the only thing we could do, and we still hope that the Ashram will do the same with the huge amount of images that were filmed there, particularly by Armstrong, and also that other devotes will do the same. We know about some great work done in this area by a disciple living in Chennai. Then, books begin to appear in India about Yogiji, written in English. Some were existing since long but we had not any right to translate them and to put them on the web. With time, this changed and some great books appeared, one after the other, written by great souls having lived by Yogiji's side for long and we got the authorisation, and sometimes we were asked, to put them on the Web. We also translated them in French. In this way, on this website, you have the possibility to read the books of Sadhu Rangarajan, Ma Devaki, Sri Parthasarathy and others. Parallel, and for French speaking people, we continued to publish the monthly magazine RAMA NAMA and put on the same site French translations of Indian sages, like Swami Rama Tirtha, Swami Vivekananda, etc. And, as it was difficult to find French translations of Indian scriptures, we began to do the same with them. We tried to do the best we could do. For sure this work is far to be what would be worthy of our Father Yogi Ramsuratkumar. Here we humbly thank the brothers and sisters who sent us their thanks and praises, knowing that these praises, actually, go to Bhagavan. Here we must add something. Having been a witness and part of some events, we were led to write about these events and to put some of these writings on this website. Doing so, the "i" appears on the scene. As, in some books that appeared in West, we found things that were not written by 'objective witnesses' but very subjective and distorting some facts, we found that it was our duty to correct this, according to the saying : "Protect Dharma and Dharma will protect you". This correction may give way to reactions. Doing this, there are two ways: the first is to try to go above and to look at things in an objective manner and to forget all the 'I's on the stage, the second is to react and to criticize, seeing what is written as 'attacks' against this one or that one, and to answer with another 'attack'. This does not bring anything good. So, what can be said is that all the praises go to Yogiji, and all the critics go to us. Our goal was never to attack anybody, but to react to untruth when it appeared. Our goal is to spread Yogi Ramsuratkumar's glory and to bring to others the small part we could know about Him, and never to use such a Divine Sage as a mean to glorify any little 'i', and ours less than any other. All writings were and are on this website to bring what we think good to all our brothers and sisters, and to bring them at the Holy Feet of Yogi Ramsuratkumar, whom you may call by another name, and who merged in His Father and of whom all of us are the beloved children. Lastly, we have to thank all wonderful Yogiji's devotees, our brothers and sisters, for everything they have given us, above all their hearts. They are always in our heart. So many names would have to be quoted, and we hope that, some day, it will possible to do it! However, most of them are already quoted on this site where we are able to read their testimonies. This site is their site, and may they improve it! |
